Media and interaction design for e.g. Austrian Academy of Sciences, University of Applied Arts, EDVG, Sysis, Museumsquarter Vienna, ZKM Karlsruhe. Main research focus on collaborative Media, Web 2.0, interaction design, network visualisations, responsive media, media facades, media architectures, media in urban space. Co- founder of planhaus.at, office for architecture and design, parq.at, platform for user participation in co-housing projects, Developer and project partner of wohnportal-berlin.de, an archive of co-housing projects in Berlin.

Whether artistic or creative work, social or socio-political involvement - as a society we need cheap, accessible and appropriable spaces to experiment, network and act together. Helenes Dorf

Wie werden Gemeinschaftsräume zur Ressource für ein ganzes Viertel? Im Erlaaer Flur in Liesing können die unterschiedlichen Gemeinschaftsräume der fünf Wohnhausanlagen von allen Bewohner*innen genutzt werden. Die verschiedenartigen Raumkonzepte wurden in einem dreijährigen Quartiersmanagement-Prozess entwickelt. Der dabei entstandene Verein Helenes Dorf setzt sich zum Ziel, nachbarschaftliche Aktivitäten zu stärken. Führung mit Bewohner Michael Friesenecker (Helenes Dorf) und Gernot Tscherteu (realitylab).
